Level-IV Training Programme for PPSs of CSSS at ISTM

This Office Memorandum details a Level-IV training program for PPSs of the Central Secretariat Services (CSSS) at the ISTM, scheduled from October 9th to November 3rd, 2017. It revises the training policy, reducing the maximum number of allowed training chances from three to two, with exceptions for those who previously exhausted two chances. Successful completion of this training is now mandatory for promotion to the Sr.PPS grade, and cadre authorities are urged to relieve nominated officers in a timely manner. A list of nominated officers with their respective cadres and dates of birth is included as Annexure-I, and a curriculum vitae proforma (Annexure-II) is to be submitted for each participant.

OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: Level-IV Training Programme for PPSs of CSSS at ISTM during the period from 09.10.2017 to 03.11.2017.


The undersigned is directed to refer to this Department’s O.M of even number dated 02.03.2017 and in continuation of this Department’s O.M of even number dated 07.03.2017, the next Level-IV Training Programme at ISTM for PPSs of CSSS may now be held w.e.f 09.10.2017 to 03.11.2017. The list of PPSs nominated for the above training have been revised and whose names are given in the Annexure-I to this O.M, have been nominated to participate in the Level-IV training programme w.e.f 09.10.2017 to 03.11.2017.

  1. It may be noted that successful completion of Level-IV training programme is mandatory for promotion to the Sr.PPS grade. Cadre authorities are, therefore, requested to ensure that the officers nominated to the above training programme are relieved in time. No request for withdrawal/exemption either from the Ministry/Department or the officer concerned shall be entertained except on the grounds indicated in DOP&T O.M. No. T-25017/1/2015-Trg(ISTM Section) dated 4th July, 2016.

  2. DOP&T vide O.M. No. T-25017/1/2015-Trg(ISTM Section) dated 4th July, 2016 has issued Revised Training Policy for Central Secretariat Services and Central Secretariat Stenographers’ Services (CSSS) in respect of Cadre Training Plan(CTP). A major shift from the earlier policy has been notified in the revised policy wherein the maximum no. of chances for mandatory training at various levels has been reduced from 3 to 2. Therefore, from now onwards the maximum chances allowed will be 2. However, those who had exhausted their 2 chances prior to issuance of the revised policy will be allowed 3 chances.

  3. It is requested that these officers may be relieved of their duties with the direction to report to Shri H. Govind, Course Director, ISTM, Administrative Block, JNU Campus (Old), New Delhi-110067 at 9 A.M. on 09.10.2017.

  4. Confirmation with regard to the release of the officers along with curriculum vitae of each participant in the prescribed proforma at Annexure-II be forwarded to Shri H. Govind, Course Director, ISTM, New Delhi with a copy to the undersigned.
