Rotational Transfer of Private Secretary of CSSS – Regarding

This office memorandum addresses the delayed submission of information regarding eligible Private Secretaries (PSs) of the Central Secretariat Service (CSSS) for rotational transfer. The Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT) had previously requested cadre units to provide details of PSs who had completed 8 years of service and were due for transfer by November 30, 2015. Several cadre units have not yet submitted this information, hindering the transfer process. A final deadline of January 7, 2016, is set for submission, after which the DoPT will proceed with the available information and will not entertain further correspondence. The annexure lists the specific departments to which this request applies, including Agriculture & Cooperation, Commerce & Industry, Health & Family Welfare, and Rural Development, among others.

OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: Rotational Transfer of Private Secretary of CSSS-regarding.

The undersigned is directed to refer to this Department’s O.M. of even number dated 20.11.2015 and subsequent reminder dated 28.12.2015 on the above mentioned subject. The requisite information regarding eligible PSs of CSSS who have completed the prescribed tenure of 8 years in a particular cadre unit and are covered under the provisions mentioned in RTP applicable for CSSS officers as due for transfer was required to be furnished to this Department in the prescribed proforma by 30.11.2015 by the Cadre Units of CSSS.

  1. The requisite information from some Cadre Units as per Annexure has not so far been received till date. It may be appreciated that the non-receipt of this information is delaying the time-bound process of finalizing the rotational transfer of eligible Private Secretaries of CSSS. The defaulting Cadre Units are once again requested to furnish the requisite information by 07.01.2016. In case the requisite information is not received by the date, this Department will go ahead with the information available with this Department and no further correspondence would be entertained in this regard.
