This Office Memorandum details the extension of ad-hoc officiation for officials serving as Steno Grade ‘A&B’ (merged) to Principal Private Secretary of the Central Secretariat Service (CSSS). It extends the continuation of adhoc officiation for officials mentioned in Annexure I and Annexure II, specifying different timeframes based on their inclusion in select lists or availability of regular PPS appointments. The terms and conditions outlined in a previous OM remain unchanged.

OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: Extension of the term of ad-hoc appointment of Steno Grade ‘A&B’ (merged) to Principal Private Secretary of CSSS – reg.

The undersigned is directed to refer to this Department’s OM of even number dated 01.07 .2008 through which ad-hoc promotions to the post of PPS were continued upto 31.12 .2008 and to say that it has been decided to :
a) extend the continuation of adhoc officiation in respect of officials mentioned in Annexure I (who have been included in the panel of Select List years 2003 & 2004 of PPS) from 01.01 .2009 to the date of their regular appointment as PPS.
b) extend the continuation of adhoc officiation in respect of all other PPS (ad-hoc) as mentioned in Annexure-II for a further period upto 31.12 .2009 or till regular PPS become available, whichever is earlier.

  1. Other terms and conditions laid down in the above referred OM will remain unchanged.
