OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: – Current status of officials of PA Grade of earlier zones to be promoted to PS Grade- reg.

The undersigned is directed to say that some officials of PA grade could not be promoted earlier due to reasons such as debarment/penalty imposed/ACR being not available/ not clear from vigilance angle/unauthorized absence etc. The current status of these officials is required for considering their promotion to the PS Grade.

  1. Cadre Units are, therefore, requested to forward the current status of the officials, as per Annexure, who have been found fit for promotion to the PS Grade and also to mention their SLY under which he/she has been recommended by the DPC. The DPC/vigilance clearance and the option form of such eligible officials, if any, for promotion to their respective SLY also be made available. The concerned Cadre Units are also requested to provide the details of such officials, who have not been found fit for promotion along with reasons to till date to this Department at the earliest. Cadre Units may also indicate if the official has completed Level-II training programme.
