The Department of Personnel & Training is undertaking an initiative to promote officers from the Principal Private Secretary (PPS) grade to Senior Principal Private Secretary (Sr. PPS) within the Central Secretariat Stenographers’ Service (CSSS). To facilitate this promotion process, all concerned cadre units and the AVD-I Division are requested to submit essential documents. These include the Annual Performance Appraisal Reports (APAR) grading, vigilance clearance, and any major/minor penalty certificates for eligible officers covering the last 10 years. Prompt submission of these documents, ideally by July 10, 2018, is crucial for the consideration of officers for promotion. The department also emphasizes the importance of ensuring that the Integrity Pact (IPR) for these officials has been forwarded and their personal particulars are updated in the Web Based Cadre Management Software of CSSS. A list of officers eligible for consideration is attached, and further details can be accessed on the Department’s website.

Subject: Vigilance Clearance and Major/Minor Penalty Certificate in respect of PPS of CSSS – reg.
The undersigned is directed to say that this Department is in the process for initiating the exercise of promotion from Principal Private Secretary (PPS) grade of CSSS to the post of Senior Principal Private Secretary (Sr. PPS) grade of CSSS. In this regard, APAR grading, vigilance clearance and major/minor penalty certificate (during the last 10 years) of the eligible officers are required. A list of the names of the officers is attached at Annexure-I.
- Concerned cadre units as well as AVD-I Division, DOP&T are requested to provide the vigilance clearance and major/minor penalty certificate for the last 10 years in respect of the eligible officers. Cadre Units may also ensure that ACR/APAR grading of the officers concerned have been sent to this Division, if not, the same may be made available by 10.07.2018 otherwise in the absence of ACR/APAR, it would be difficult to consider their names for promotion. It may also be ensured that the IPR in respect of these officials have been forwarded to this Division and personal particulars of these officials have been uploaded in the Web Based Cadre management Software of CSSS.
