A

This Office Memorandum details the allocation of ten candidates from the general category, qualified through the Limited Departmental Competitive Examination 2003, for appointment to Steno Grade ‘A&B'(Merged) of the CSSS. It notes that some candidates have already been nominated or recommended for other positions, reducing the number effectively available for appointment to six. These six candidates are allocated to different cadres within the CSSS, with a request to expedite their appointments after due diligence. The annexure lists the candidates, their current cadre, nominated cadre, and the year of the select list they will be included in.

OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: Section Officer/Stenographers (Gr. ‘B’/Gr.I) Limited Departmental Competitive Examination – 2003 – Appointment to Steno Gr. ‘A&B’ (Merged) of CSSS – Allocation of qualified candidates -reg.

The undersigned is directed to refer to this Department’s OM of even number dated 2.9.2005, and OM No. 5/5/2006-CS.II dated 12.12.2006 & 4.3.2008 on the above mentioned subject and to say that on the basis of SOS/Stenos (Gr. ‘B’/Gr. I) Limited Departmental Competitive Examination 2003, a supplementary list of 10 candidates belonging to general category has been made available by the UPSC for their appointment to Steno Grade ‘A&B’ (Merged) of CSSS for this year. It is, however, noted that one candidate, namely Shri Rakesh Kumar who has already been nominated for appointment as Steno Gr. ‘A&B’ (Merged) of CSSS on the basis of LDCE-2002 has been recommended for appointment against the year 2003 also. Further 3 more candidates, namely Shri Harish Kumar, Ms. Bhuvaneswari Hariharan & Shri Anil Kumar Dadhich recommended for appointment as Steno Gr. ‘A&B’ (Merged) of CSSS against the year 2003 have already been recommended for appointment as Section Officer. Therefore, these 4 candidates are not being allocated to any cadre. Having regard to this, only 06 candidates have effectively become available for appointment. Six (06) candidates belonging to general category are hereby allocated to different cadres of CSSS as shown in the Annexure of this Office Memorandum. The candidates have been shifted to other cadres for want of vacancies in their own cadre. They may be appointed immediately subject to their being found clear from vigilance angle. The dossiers of the candidates as received from the Commission are sent herewith, which may be retained as part of their personal files.

  1. These candidates may be included in the Select List of Steno Grade ‘A&B’ (Merged) of CSSS for the S.I. year 2003 as shown against their names (in the Annexure) in the manner indicated in the CSSS Rules, 1969. Copies of appointment orders may please be endorsed to this Department and the UPSC.
  2. Receipt of this O.M. together with its enclosures may kindly be acknowledged.
