Subject:- Draft Common Seniority List of Steno. Grade ‘C’ for the Select List Year 1994 circulation – reg.

The undersigned is directed to refer to this Department’s O.M. No. 20/7/2008-CS.II dated 18.6.2008 circulating therewith a final Common Seniority List of Steno Grade ‘ C ‘ of CSSS for the Select List Years 1991,1992 and 1993, and to say that such a list has further been prepared for the Select List Year 1994 vide Annexure to this O.M and it may be seen/downloaded from the website of this Department i.e.: –

3. In this context, it is brought to the notice of all concerned that direct recruitment to Steno Grade C for the year 1994 was stopped, and the vacancies meant for this year were filled up through Departmental Examination quota and Seniority Quota in equal proportion vide this Department Order No. 10/3/93-CS.II dated 21.6.95. Hence, the CSL-1994 has been prepared by adopting the following principles:-
   ‘Subject to their inter-se seniority in their respective cadres, Limited Departmental Competitive Examination (LDCE) candidates (i.e. Steno Gr. C)of the Select List 1994 shall be arranged in a single list in the order of their merit and Stenos Gr. ‘C’ of Seniority Quota appointees of the Select List-1994 are interpolated with them. In case there is no LDCE candidate in a particular Cadre or Select List Year or where there is no LDCE candidate, below a promotee against Seniority Quota, all such promotees against Seniority Quota shall be arranged on the basis of length of service maintaining their inter-se cadre seniority intact”.
4. It is requested that this may be brought to the notice of the concerned officials of Steno Grade ‘ C ‘ of CSSS (including those who have proceeded from the Cadre on deputation to an excadre post), and they may be requested to submit representations/objections, if any, with regard to any factual inaccuracy and the order of placement in the list, which may be forwarded alongwith the comments of the Cadres concerned to this Department for appropriate action. If the name of any Steno. Grade ‘ C ‘ has been left out inadvertently from being included in the list, the names of such officers alongwith their particulars may be forwarded to this Department .
5. It is also requested that if any of the Stenos. Grade ‘ C ‘ shown in the list has already been appointed as Private Secretary on regular basis against SQ/DE quota or has ceased to be a member of the CSSS due to any reason, the names of such officers alongwith full details may please be furnished to this Department.
6. It is requested that factual inaccuracies/deficiencies, if any, may be brought to the notice of this Department immediately but not later than 17.11.2008. If nothing is heard from any cadre by that date, it will be presumed that there is no factual inaccuracy in the said list and the CSL will be finalised accordingly. It may please be noted that objections/omissions/errors, if any, furnished by the cadres or pointed out by any individual official after the stipulated date will not be entertained by this Department.
