Finalization of Draft Common Seniority List for Senior Principal Private Secretaries as of 2014

A significant update has been issued regarding the seniority status of Senior Principal Private Secretaries. A comprehensive draft list, reflecting positions as of July 1, 2014, has been published and is readily available on the relevant departmental website. This provisional list is now open for review by all officers, including those currently serving on deputation. Departments are tasked with verifying the accuracy of all personal details, such as dates of appointment and birth, and identifying any inadvertent omissions. Any discrepancies or missing names must be reported to the concerned authority by a specified date in January 2015. Failure to provide feedback by this deadline will lead to the list being finalized as presumed accurate. Furthermore, a general call has been made to ensure that all web-based personnel data is kept up-to-date by both cadre units and individual officers.

A draft Common Seniority List of Senior Principal Private Secretaries as on 1.07.2014 is circulated herewith. It can also be seen/downloaded from the website of this Department i.e.:-

  1. The concerned Cadre Units are requested to circulate the Draft Common Seniority List amongst the officers concerned including those who have proceeded on deputation to ex-cadre posts to invite objections, if any. Cadre Units are also requested to verify the correctness of the particulars such as date of appointment, date of birth etc. of the officers shown in the list. In case the name of any officer has been left out inadvertently from being included in the list, the same may be brought to the notice of this Department.

  2. It is further requested that factual inaccuracies/deficiencies, if any, may be brought to the notice of this Department immediately but not later than 16.01.2015. If nothing is heard from any Cadre Unit by that date, it will be presumed that there is no factual inaccuracy in the said list and the same will be finalized accordingly.

  3. The cadre units as well as the officers concerned are also requested to ensure that web-based date is complete and updated.
