Level ‘A’ Training Programme at ISTM for U.D.Cs

This Office Memorandum announces a Level ‘A’ Training Programme for Under Secretaries (UDCs) at the Institute of Secretariat Training and Management (ISTM) from October 1st to October 26th, 2012. The nominated UDCs, listed in Annexure I, are to be relieved of their duties and report to Shri Lalit Grover at ISTM. Performance during the training will be reflected in their Annual Performance Appraisal Reports (APARs), and completion is crucial for promotion. A training allowance of Rs. 15,000/- will be provided. Departments are requested to confirm participation with bio-data by September 14th, 2012. The memorandum also details distribution lists and a link to the relevant circular on the Department’s website.

OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: Level ‘A’ Training Programme atISTM for U.D.Cs during the period 01/10/2012 to 26/10/2012.

The undersigned is directed to inform that UDCs, whose names are given in Annexure I, have been nominated for the Level ‘A’ Training Programme conducted by ISTM w.e.f. 01/10/2012 to 26/10/2012. It is requested that these officials may be relieved of their duties and advised to report to Shri Lalit Grover, Assistant Director/Course Coordinator, ISTM, Administrative Block, JNU Campus (Old), New Delhi-110067 at 9 A.M. on $1^{\text {st }}$ October, 2012.
2. The performance of the officials in the training, as evaluated and reported by ISTM, may be added in their APARs. No request for withdrawal of nomination either from the Ministry/Department or the officer concerned shall be entertained by this Department or the Institute. As the training of the officials and successful completion is necessary for promotion, the Cadre Units are requested to ensure that the officials nominated to the above programme are relieved in time. The officials who do not attend or successfully complete the Level ‘A’ training programme will be liable to debarment and denial of promotion as envisaged in DOP\&T OM No.1/1/2009CS.I(Trg) dated 24.02.2010 and OM No.8/11/2010-CSI(Trg) dated 05.04.2010.
3. The aforesaid training includes study tour and the officers nominated above may be advised to draw necessary TA/DA advance of Rs. 15,000/- each from their respective Ministry/Department. This amount may be released in Cash only and the same shall be collected by ISTM from the participating officials.
4. Confirmation with regard to the participation of the officials along with their respective bio-data (Annexure-II) may please be sent by $14^{\text {th }}$ September, 2012 to Shri Lalit Grover, Assistant Director/Course Co-ordinator, ISTM, New Delhi, with a copy to the undersigned.
