Consequent upon her inclusion in the USSL-2013 for regular promotion as Under Secretary vide DOPT’s O.M.No.5/6/2013-CS.I(U) dated 07.09.2015, Ms. Virjinea Minj (CSL No.8017), Section Officer is retained in the Ministry of Urban Development as Under Secretary against an existing vacancy.
2. The promotion will become effective from the date Ms. Virjinea Minj takes charge of the post of Under Secretary. The promotion of the officer is subject to the condition that she is clear from vigilance angle in terms of this Department’s O.M. No.22034/4/2012-Estt.(D) dated 2.11.2012 and other relevant instructions on the subject. Copy of notification for appointment of the officer to the grade of Under Secretary should be endorsed to this Department at the earliest for record.
