This request stems from a previous communication on December 13, 2016, where it was noted that the information was still outstanding from a majority of departments. The purpose of collecting this data is to complete a database of posting locations. A specific format for the information is provided, with a deadline of January 29, 2017 (in the first memorandum) and December 21, 2016 (in the second memorandum) for submission.

The undersigned is directed to refer to this Department’s O.M. of even number dated 13.12.2016 (copy enclosed) on the subject mentioned above and to say that the information in respect of Under Secretaries of CSS who are posted in the offices located outside Delhi has still not been received from majority of the Ministries/Departments.
- Ministries/Departments, who have yet not furnished the information, are therefore again requested to do the same latest by 29.01.2017 for records of this Department.
