Order Regarding Relieving of Under Secretaries

O

This order from the Department of Personnel & Training addresses the incomplete relieving of officers as per a previous rotational transfer policy. It clarifies that requests for officer retention will not be granted and mandates that all Under Secretaries not yet relieved are deemed relieved effective September 30, 2019, with exceptions for those in E Level Training. The order emphasizes the responsibility of officers to join their new postings and warns of potential punitive action for non-compliance, including salary restrictions. Ministries and concerned officers are instructed to comply with the directive, and a copy of relieving/joining orders should be submitted to the department for record-keeping.
