Subject : Promotion of Assistant in the grade of Section Officer of CSS on ad- hoc basis – extension thereof
The undersigned is directed to refer to this Department’s OM of even no. dated 24.12.2013 on the subject mentioned above and to state that a number of Cadre Units have requested for grant of extension beyond 31.12.2013 in respect of those Section Officers(ad-hoc) who are included in the Select Lists of Section Officer grade for the years 2009, 2010 \& 2011 against Seniority Quota (SQ) as per DOP\&T’s OM No. 6/2/2013-CS-I(S)-I, OM No. 6/2/2013-CS-I(S)-II \& OM No.6/2/2013-CS-I(S)-III dated 25.9.2013.
2. The matter has been examined in this Department and it has been decided that extension of ad-hoc promotion beyond 31.12.2013 till their date of regularization in respect of such officers to Section Officer grade would be considered only after their regularization.
