ORDER
Subject: Promotion of Section Officers of Central Secretariat Service (CSS) to Grade I (Under Secretary) of CSS on ad-hoc basis.
The undersigned is directed refer to this Department’s Order of even number dated 26.05.2010 on the subject noted above and to say that the last date of compliance of the above mentioned Order is 25.06.2010. Some of the Section Officers who have been promoted to the Grade of Under Secretary on ad-hoc basis have still not been relieved by the concerned Ministries/Departments where they are presently working. All Ministries/Departments are once again requested to relieve such officers immediately to enable them to join their new assignments, failing which the orders of ad-hoc promotion in respect of such officers shall stand cancelled automatically.
