Subject: Posting of regular USs and posting on promotion to US grade on ad-hoc basis – revised vacancies regarding

The undersigned is directed to refer to this Departments’ O.M. of even number dated 18.03.2016 on the subject mentioned above and to say that there is a minor change in the vacancy position in the grade of Under Secretary and the vacancies have gone up to 24 from the earlier notified 22.

1. The revised vacancies are given in Annexure-I to this O.M. The revised list of officers who are to be posted/promoted is also given in Annexure-II to this O.M. The officers are requested to exercise option/revised option (if any) by 12.00 PM on 22.3.2016. The options should be submitted only through e-mail address given below as per enclosed proforma. Posting of officers will be decided in terms of RTP.

2. Web Based Cadre Management System: It is reiterated that the data in the web based cadre management system should be complete in all respects prior to submission of options.
