The Ministry of Personnel, PG and Pensions has issued an order extending the tenure of adhoc appointments for all serving Under Secretaries for one year, up to June 30, 2021. This extension is contingent upon the posts not being filled on a regular basis or until further orders are issued. ORDER
In continuation of this Department’s Order of even number dated 04.02.2020, with the approval of the Competent Authority, the tenure of adhoc appointment of all the serving Under Secretaries is hereby extended for one year beyond 30.06.2020 i.e. upto 30.06 .2021 or till the posts are filled up on regular basis or till further orders, whichever is earlier.
2. These Under Secretaries are covered under this Department’s order No.5/7/2011-CS.I(U) dated 11.08.2011 and subsequent orders issued from time to time for promotion of Section Officers of CSS to the Grade-I (Under Secretary) on adhoc basis.
3. This order will be applicable to all such officers who are continuously holding the post of Under Secretary on ad-hoc basis as per aforementioned orders. The continuation of the ad-hoc appointment beyond 30.06 .2020 is subject to the conditions as mentioned in this Department’s aforementioned orders.
