ORDER
In continuation of this Department’s Order of even number dated 2nd July, 2021, with the approval of the Competent Authority, the tenure of ad-hoc appointment in respect of the following serving Under Secretaries is hereby extended, for 6 months beyond 30.06.2022 i.e. up to 31.12.2022 or till their regular appointment as Under Secretary or till further orders, whichever is earlier.

- These Under Secretaries are covered under this Department’s order No.5/7/2011-CS.I(U) dated 11.08.2011 and subsequent orders issued from time to time, for promotion of Section Officers of CSS to the Grade-I (Under Secretary) on ad-hoc basis.
- This order will be applicable to all the above officers who are continuously holding the post of Under Secretary on ad-hoc basis as per aforementioned orders. The continuation of the ad-hoc appointment beyond 30.06.2022 is subject to the conditions as mentioned in this Department’s aforementioned orders.
- The extension of term of ad-hoc promotion will also remain subject to the order/outcome of the Jarnail Singh batch of cases.
