This order extends the tenure of ad-hoc appointments for Deputy Secretaries covered under the CSS scheme, as per previous orders dated 31.07.2012 and subsequent updates. The extension is valid until June 30, 2016, or until the posts are filled on a regular basis, whichever comes first. This applies to all officers currently holding the position of Deputy Secretary on an ad-hoc basis, with continuation of promotion beyond December 31, 2015, being subject to existing conditions outlined in departmental orders. The communication is directed to all relevant Ministries/Departments and concerned officers.

ORDER
With the approval of the Competent Authority, the tenure of ad-hoc appointment of Deputy Seceraries of CSS covered under this Department’s Order No. 4/14/2011-CS-I(D) dated 31.07.2012 and subsequent several orders is hereby extended upto 30.06.2016 or till the posts are filled up on regular basis or till further orders, whichever is earlier.
- This order will be applicable to all such officers who are continuously holding the post of Deputy Secretary on ad-hoc basis as per aforementioned orders. The continuation of ad-hoc promotion beyond 31.12.2015 is subject to the conditions mentioned in this Department’s aforementioned orders.
