OFFICE MEMORANDUM
Subject: Promotion of Grade-I (Under Secretary) officers of CSS to the Selection Grade (DeputySecretary) on ad-hoc basis – Furnishing of personal information thereof.
The undersigned is directed to refer to this Department’s OM of even number dated 22.02.2016 on the subject mentioned above vide which 14 vacancies in DS/Director Grade of CSS were notified for filling up through ad-hoc promotion to DS Grade and options sought from officers concerned.
2. However, it has been observed that a vacancy each in D/o- Economic Affairs and in the M/o- Statistical \& Programme Implementation are not to be filled up at present under the provisions of RTP as these vacancies have arisen due to uniletral surrender of officers. In view of this, only 12 vacancies are to be filled up as against 14 notified vide OM dated 22.2.2016.
3. Accordingly, the list of Officers likely to be promoted to DS grade and the revised vacancy position against which adhoc promotions are to be made are given in AnnexureI and Annexure-II respectively.
4. The officers may exercise their choices as per RTP latest by 12 PM on 3.3.2016 in the format at Annexure-III. The options should be furnished to Under Secretary, CS-I (D), Department of Personnel and Training through e-mail (uscsoned@gmail.com).
