OFFICE MEMORANDUM
Subject: Promotion of Grade-I (Under Secretary) officers of CSS to the Selection Grade (Deputy Secretary) on ad-hoc basis – Furnishing of personal information thereof.
The undersigned is directed to refer to this Department’s OM of even number dated 19.04.2016 on the subject mentioned above vide which 10 vacancies in DS/Director Grade of CSS were notified for filling up through ad-hoc promotion to DS Grade and options sought from officers concerned. It was specified in the OM dated 19.04.2016 that if the officers who are on deputation did not furnish their choices by the stipulated time, it would be presumed that they are not willing to repatriate to the Cadre to avail ad-hoc promotion and their names will be considered in future only on receipt of written communication conveying their willingness to repatriate to the Cadre to avail promotion.
- As Shri Sitaram Yadav (CSL No 5640-A) and Ms. Vanita Sood (CSL No. 5761), who are on deputation, have not furnished their choices, it is presumed that they are not willing to repatriate to the cadre to avail ad-hoc promotion. Accordingly, the revised list of Officers likely to be promoted to Deputy Secretary grade and the vacancy position against which ad-hoc promotions are to be made are given in Annexure-I and Annexure-II respectively.

The officers are requested to exercise their revised choices as per RTP latest by 01:00 PM on 22.04.2016 in the format at Annexure-III. If the revised choices are not received, it would be presumed that there is no change in their earlier preferences. The options may please be furnished to Under Secretary, CS-I (D), Department of Personnel and Training through e-mail (uscsoned@gmail.com).
