Attention is invited to this Department’s O.M. of even number dated 30.05.2021 (copy annexed) requesting for vigilance status of Deputy Secretaries (adhoc) in the CSS cadre for the purpose captioned above. The requisite response in respect of 041 officers mentioned in the annexed list, is still awaited from the cadre units concerned.
2. The subject matter may kindly be accorded PRIORITY. The requested information may be forwarded urgently, and latest by 10.06.2021 through email at rajeev.nayan@nic.in with a copy endorsed to uscs.1d-dopt@gov.in

Subject: Vigilance status in respect of DS (adhoc)- for the purpose of continuation/ extension of adhoc promotion- reg.
Attention is invited to this Department’s Orders dated 11.12.2020, 08.01.2021 and 04.02.2021, with regard to promotion of Under Secretaries to the Selection Grade (Deputy Secretary) in the CSS cadre on adhoc basis. A list of officers concerned is annexed which does not contain the names of those who have superannuated or will be retiring on attaining the age of superannuation by 30.06.2021.
2. The cadre units concerned are requested to verify the list, and furnish the names of the officers in respect of whom the following information is attracted:
(a) Details of officers whom disciplinary proceedings have been initiated/ contemplated during the last one year;
(b) Whether any penalty has been imposed during the last one year;
2.1 A certificate to the effect that the remaining officers named in the list in a particular cadre unit, are clear from vigilance angle, also need to be furnished for the purpose.
3. Appreciating its significance, the subject matter may kindly be accorded due PRIORITY. The requested information may be forwarded at the earliest, and latest by 03.06.2021 through email at rajeev.nayan@nic.in with a copy endorsed to uscs.1d-dopt@gov.in
