OFFICE MEMORANDUM
Subject: Select List for the year 2011 of the Officers of the Central Secretariat Service (CSS) for appointment to Grade-I (Under Secretary) of the Service – Inclusion of Shri Parveen Kumar (CSL No.6933).
In continuation of DoPT’s O.M. of even number dated 23.09.2013 on the subject noted above, the undersigned is directed to convey the approval of the President for inclusion of Shri Parveen Kumar (CSL No.6933) in the Select List of Under Secretary for the year 2011.
2. Shri Parveen Kumar was considered by DPC for inclusion in USSL for the year 2011. The recommendations of the DPC in respect of the officer were placed in sealed cover as it was informed by the Ministry of Civil Aviation that the officer was under suspension. Ministry of Civil Aviation vide their OM No. A.32014/1/2010-Admn dated 4.10.2013 conveyed vigilance clearance.
3. Accordingly, in terms of Department of Personnel \& Training O.M. No.22011/4/91Estt.(A) dated 14.09.1992, the sealed cover in respect of Shri Parveen Kumar was opened. As per the recommendations of the DPC as contained in the sealed cover, approval of the competent authority has been obtained for inclusion of the name of Shri Parveen Kumar in the Select List of Under Secretary of CSS for the year 2011 at SI. No.66.1, below Shri Umesh Kumar (CSL No.6932) at SI. No. 66 and above Shri Ashish Kumar Panda (CSL No.6934) at SI. No.67, in the Annexure-I to O.M. No.5/13/2012-CS.I(U) dated 23.09.2013, subject to the conditions prescribed therein.
4. Orders for posting of Shri Parveen Kumar on his promotion to the grade of US will be issued separately.
