OFFICE MEMORANDUM
Subject: Select List for the year 2012 of the Officers of the Central Secretariat Service (CSS) for appointment to Grade-I (Under Secretary) of the Service – Inclusion of Shri Hemant Kumar Dhasmana (CSL No.7314).
In continuation of DoPT’s O.M. of even number dated 04.07.2014 on the subject noted above, the undersigned is directed to convey the approval of the President for inclusion of Shri Hemant Kumar Dhasmana (CSL No.7314) in the Select List of Under Secretary for the year 2012.
2. Shri Hemant Kumar Dhasmana was considered by DPC for inclusion in USSL for the year 2012. The recommendations of the DPC in respect of the officer were placed in sealed cover as it was informed by the Department of Commerce vide their O.M. No.32019/1/2012-E.I dated 05.11.2013 that the officer was not clear from vigilance angle as disciplinary proceedings were pending against him relating to a missing file. The Officer was discharged of the charges vide Department of Commerce Order No. A/19011/21/06/E.I dated 20.6.2014. The Department vide their O.M. No.A.32012/1/2014-E.I dated 21.07.2014 conveyed vigilance clearance in respect of the Officer.
3. Accordingly, in terms of Department of Personnel \& Training O.M. No.22011/4/91-Estt.(A) dated 14.09.1992, the sealed cover in respect of Shri Hemant Kumar Dhasmana was opened. As per the recommendations of the DPC as contained in the sealed cover, approval of the competent authority has been obtained for inclusion of the name of Shri Hemant Kumar Dhasmana in the Select List of Under Secretary of CSS for the year 2012 at SI. No.47.1, below Shri Anil Kumar Singh (CSL No.7313) at SI. No. 47 and above Smt. Indira M. (CSL No.7315) at SI. No.48, in the Annexure-I to O.M. No.5/6/2013-CS.I(U) dated 04.07.2014, subject to the conditions prescribed therein.
4. Orders for posting of Shri Hemant Kumar Dhasmana on his promotion to the grade of US will be issued separately.
