OFFICE MEMORANDUM
Subject: Review of USSLs 2004-2008 – Availability of ACRs/APARs – Reg.
The undersigned is directed to say that this Department has initiated process of formulating proposal for review of USSLs 2004-2008. In the first instance proposal will be forwarded for review of USSLs 2004 & 2005.
- For consideration upto USSL-2005, ACRs/APARs from 1998-1999 to 2003-2004 in respect of the officers, who are in the zone of consideration, are required for assessment by the review DPC conducted by UPSC. Statement of availability of ACRs / APARs in respect of officers who have been included in the zone of consideration keeping in view orders of Courts / extension of orders to similarly placed officers (viz. Garima Singh case and Rohtas Bhankar case) and whose one or more ACRs / APARs in the reckonable period are not made available to this Department is at Annexure to this O.M.

Ministries / Departments concerned are requested to furnish missing ACRs/APARs as mentioned in the Annexure in a week’s time. If for any reason ACR / APAR is not available, No Report Certificate (NRC) should be furnished indicating reasons for non-recording of ACRs / APARs.

All Officers concerned are also requested to pursue with the Administration Division concerned to ensure that the said ACRs / APARs in respect of them are made available to this Department urgently.
