ORDER

Consequent upon inclusion in the Selection Grade (Deputy Secretary) Select Lists of CSS for the years 2006 & 2007, the following Grade I (Under Secretary) officers of CSS are hereby posted to the Ministry/Department mentioned against their names for promotion as Deputy Secretary of CSS on regular basis:

  1. All concerned Ministries/Departments, where the officers are presently working, are requested to relieve the officers immediately without waiting for a substitute to enable them to avail their regular promotion to Selection Grade in the CSS. Substitutes will be provided by DOP&T in due course. The officers who have not successfully completed/qualified the mandatory Level “E” training programme conducted by DOP&T/ISTM are required to undergo training/qualifying test within six months from the date of promotion.
  2. The pay and allowances etc of officers are to be fixed under FR 22(1)(a)(i) with effect from the date of taking over the charge of Deputy Secretary on regular basis. The officers are, however, eligible for notional fixation of pay with effect from 1st July of the Select List year.
