OFFICE MEMORANDUM
Sub: Part Select List of Grade I officers of Central Secretariat Service (CSS) considered fit for inclusion in the Selection Grade (Deputy Secretary) of CSS for the year 2007.
In continuation of this Department’s OMs of even number dated 30.01.09, 11.02.09, 06.04.09, 08.05.09, 29.05.09 and 28.07.09 the Competent Authority has approved the recommendations of the Selection Committee in its meeting held on 29.01.09 for promotion of Grade I officers (Under Secretary) of Central Secretariat Service (CSS) considered fit for inclusion in the Selection Grade (Deputy Secretary) of CSS for the year 2007, as per Annexure.
2. Placement orders in respect of those serving officers included in the above list will be issued separately.

OFFICE ORDER
In partial modification of earlier orders of even number dated $29^{\text {th }}$ May, 2009 and $6^{\text {th }}$ July, 2009, Shri S.P. Veer, a Grade I (Under Secretary) officer of CSS is hereby permitted to continue in the Ministry of Information \& Broadcasting, for promotion as Deputy Secretary of CSS on regular basis by personal up-gradation of the post of Under Secretary held by him as Deputy Secretary till the date of his superannuation. Thereafter the post will be operated at Under Secretary level.
2. His pay and allowances etc. are to be fixed under FR 22 (1) (a) (i) w.e.f. the date of taking over the charge of Deputy Secretary on regular basis. He is, however, eligible for notional fixation of pay w.e.f. $1^{\text {st }}$ July of the Select List Year.

OFFICE ORDER
Consequent upon his inclusion in the Selection Grade (Deputy Secretary) Select List of CSS for the year 2007, Shri Rakesh Bhatnagar, a Grade I (Under Secretary) officer of CSS in the Ministry of Steel is hereby promoted as Deputy Secretary of CSS on regular basis with effect from the date of assumption of charge of the post of Deputy Secretary in that Ministry. Shri Rakesh Bhatnagar may be appointed as Deputy Secretary by personal up-gradation of the post of Under Secretary currently held by him as Deputy Secretary up to the date of his superannuation. Thereafter the post will be operated at Under Secretary level.
3. The pay and allowances etc. of Shri Bhatnagar are to be fixed under FR 22 (1)(a)(i) w.e.f. the date of taking over the charge of Deputy Secretary on regular basis. Shri Bhatnagar is, however, eligible for notional fixation of pay w.e.f. $1^{\text {st }}$ July of the Select List Year.
