Consequent upon inclusion in the Selection Grade (Deputy Secretary) Select Lists of CSS for the year 2007, the following Grade I (Under Secretary) officers of CSS are hereby posted to the Ministry/Department mentioned against their names for promotion as Deputy Secretary of CSS on regular basis:

Substitutes will be provided by DOP&T in due course.
- The pay and allowances etc of officers are to be fixed under FR 22(1)(a)(i) with effect from the date of taking over the charge of Deputy Secretary on regular basis. The officers are, however, eligible for notional fixation of pay with effect from 1st July of the Select List year.

OFFICE ORDER

Sharma, a Grade I (Under Secretary) officer of CSS in the Staff Selection Commission is hereby promoted as Deputy Secretary of CSS on regular basis with effect from the date of assumption of charge of the post of Deputy Secretary in that Commission. Shri A.K. Sharma may be appointed as Deputy Secretary by personal up-gradation of the post of Under Secretary currently held by him as Deputy Secretary up to the date of his superannuation. Thereafter the post will be operated at Under Secretary level.
3. The pay and allowances etc. of Shri Sharma are to be fixed under FR 22 (1)(a)(i) w.e.f. the date of taking over the charge of Deputy Secretary on regular basis. Shri Sharma is, however, eligible for notional fixation of pay w.e.f. $1^{\text {st }}$ July of the Select List Year.
