- In the case of officers who have been posted out on promotion, all concerned Ministries/Departments are requested to relieve the officers immediately without waiting for a substitute to enable them to avail their regular promotion to Selection Grade in the CSS. Orders for posting of substitutes will be issued separately.
- The above promotions of officers are subject to final orders of Hon’ble CAT in OA No.1864/2009 filed before the Hon’ble CAT, Kolkata by Ms. Garima Singh Vs. UOI & Ors (since transferred to CAT, Principal Bench, New Delhi).

In partial modification of this Department’s Office Order of even number dated $6^{\text {th }}$ September, 2010, consequent upon inclusion in the Selection Grade (Deputy Secretary) Select List of CSS for the year 2010 (Pt), Ms. Gloria Kumar, a Grade I Officer of CSS is posted to the Ministry of OIA for promotion as Deputy Secretary of CSS on regular basis w.e.f. the date of assumption of charge.
