OFFICE MEMORANDUM
Subject: Select List of officers of the Selection Grade (Deputy Secretary) of the Central Secretariat Service for inclusion in the Senior Selection Grade (Director) for the year 2012
The competent authority has approved the recommendations made by the Selection Committee in its meeting held on 15th June, 2012 for inclusion of officers of the Selection Grade (Deputy Secretary) of the Central Secretariat Service (CSS) in the Senior Selection Grade (Director) Select List for the year 2012. The approved Select List is at annexure.
- Orders of promotion of the empanelled officers as Director will be issued separately.

The promotion of the under mentioned three empanelled officers is subject to the following conditions:
(i) The question of grant of exemption from training in respect of Shri Vijay Kumar (CSL No. 4072), Deputy Secretary in the Department of Revenue, and Shri B.L. Tikania, (CSL No. 4504), Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Labour and Employment, who have not attended the mandatory Level F Training after being nominated for the first time and their being assessed in the absence of their having successfully completed the training shall be decided by the competent authority (The Cadre Controlling Authority).
(ii) Before promotion orders in respect of Shri K. Muralidharan, Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Home Affairs, are issued, the updated vigilance status of the officer may be ascertained from MHA/AVD.
