Select List of Section Officer’s Grade – Examination Quota (2006, 2007, 2008)

S

This Office Memorandum from the Department of Personnel & Training addresses the timely relieving of Section Officers selected through the Combined Limited Departmental Competitive Examination for the years 2006, 2007, and 2008. It reminds Cadre Units of a previous order (dated October 27th, 2011) requesting officers to be relieved within 45 days to take up new postings. The memo highlights that failure to relieve officers within the stipulated timeframe may result in cancellation of appointments/promotions and the return of dossiers to the UPSC. It emphasizes the responsibility of Cadre Units to adhere to CSS Rules regarding transfer timelines and urges immediate action, considering upcoming holidays. The document is a directive to ensure smooth transitions and compliance with established procedures for personnel management within the government.
