OFFICE MEMORANDUM
Subject: Verification of Character and Antecedents Reports in respect of Direct Recruit Assistant Section Officers appointed on the basis of CGLE- 2013 and 2014 regarding.
The undersigned is directed to say that this Department is the cadre controlling authority of Assistant Section Officers posted in various ministries and it has been noticed that many Verification of Character and Antecedents Reports in respect of Direct Recruit Assistant Section Officers appointed on the basis of Combined Graduate Level Examination 2013 and 2014 conducted by SSC have not yet been received from the concerned authorities.
2. All the Ministries/ Departments are therefore, requested to furnish to this Department the detail information about the ASO’s, posted in their Ministry, of the CGLE year 2013 and 2014, against whom Verification of Character and Antecedents Reports have not yet been received. This Department will take follow up action with Concerned District Authority to expedite the process.
3. All the Ministries/ Departments are requested to furnish information in the following format.
