OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Sub: All Secretariat Select List of Section Officers’ Grade for the year 1995.

As the Ministry of Finance etc. are aware that in accordance with the provisions contained in the Regulation 2 of the Fourth Schedule to the CSS Rules, 1962, additions to the Select List of Section Officers’ Grade are to be made by taking one person in rotation from each of the following categories:
(a) Assistants’ approved for promotion on the basis of Seniority subject to rejection of the unift.
(b) Assistants recommended for promotion as Section Officers on the basis of result of the LDCE by the UPSC.
2. Accordingly, the All Secretariat Seniority List has been prepared containing names of officers promoted through both the streams. The names of officers allotted to each cadre for inclusion in the Select List 1995 from each of the above categories were forwarded to the cadre authorities vide this Department’s OM No.5/12/96-CS.I dated 06.12.1996 and OM No.5/22/96-CS.I dated 31.10.1997 as amended from time to time. It was then requested that action be taken by the cadre authorities to prepare the cadre-wise additions to the Select List of Section Officers’ Grade for the year 1995 in accordance with the principles mentioned above.
3. Any omission/error found in the All Secretariat Select List 1995, which could be downloaded from this Ministry’s Website www.persmin.nic.in may be brought to the notice of this Department within 45 days from the date of issue of this OM for corrective action.
