OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: Section Officers’ Grade-Inclusion in the Select List for the years 2010 and 2011 against Seniority Quota- Regarding

The undersigned is directed to say that the zone of consideration for inclusion in SO SLs for the years 2010 and 2011 against Seniority Quota was issued vide this Department’s OMs No.6/2/2013-CS-I(S) (II \& III) dated 25.09.2013.
2. Based on the information about DPC recommendations received from the cadre units, supplementary lists for these years were issued vide this Department’s OMs No. 6/2/2015-CS-I(S) dated 20.01.2015 and 6/3/2015-CS-I(S) dated 21.01.2015 respectively. DPCs were also pending in respect of some officers included in the zone for these years, a list each of such officers was also attached with OMs dated 20.01.2015 and 21.01.2015.
3. However, based on the information received from Cadre Units subsequently, it has been observed that a total of 26 officers (as per list attached), who were included in the zone/supplementary zone, have not yet been declared fit for inclusion in SO SL 2010 and 2011 (SQ) for reasons mentioned against each even after a lapse of almost 3 years. This Department is in the process of preparation of draft All Secretariat Select Lists for 2010 and 2011 in the Section Officers’ Grade. The 26 officers, who have not yet been included in the SO SLs 2010 and 2011, would be excluded from the draft ASSLs for 2010 and 2011, as the case may be.
4. The Ministries/Departments and officers concerned are, therefore, requested to verify the enclosed list and inform this Department about any discrepancy/inaccuracy therein by 30.06.2016. If the officers concerned have anything to represent against their exclusion, they may do so to their administrative Ministry/Department with a copy endorsed to this Department. If no information/representation is received by the stipulated date, the draft ASSLs for these years would be issued by excluding the name of these officers.
