In a significant administrative decision, the Government recently resolved a long-standing personnel matter concerning a medical officer, Shri Ayendra Singh. Following a thorough review by a dedicated committee, it was confirmed that the officer’s position had been transferred to Dehradun, a region now part of Uttarakhand, prior to the state’s bifurcation. Given Shri Ayendra Singh’s expressed preference to serve in Uttarakhand and the availability of a suitable vacancy, the committee recommended his formal allocation to the newly formed state. This recommendation has been fully endorsed by the Government of India, officially placing Shri Ayendra Singh in Uttarakhand. This move not only settles his assignment but also adjusts the overall count of vacant medical officer positions within Uttarakhand, streamlining public service allocations in the region.
