Following a directive from the Allahabad High Court, a government committee has reviewed the representations submitted by personnel from the Secondary Education Department. These individuals had requested allocation to Uttar Pradesh, often citing domicile and their junior-most status in the cadre. After careful consideration, the committee, whose recommendations have been accepted by the Government of India, concluded that the grounds mentioned in these representations were not covered under the existing Reorganisation guidelines. Consequently, all such requests have been rejected. The affected personnel are therefore to remain allocated to the successor State of Uttarakhand.
