Subject: Decision on the representation dated 28-7-2010 of Shri Pratap Singh Garbyal, Executive Engineer, PWD for his re-allocation to Uttarakhand.
Sir,
I am directed to refer the representation received from Shri Pratap Singh Garbyal, Executive Engineer, PWD seeking re-allocation to Uttarakhand, and to say that it was considered by the Advisory Committee headed by Joint Secretary (SR) in its meeting held on 01-12-2010. Since Shri Garbyal belongs to Bhotia tribe and is a domicile of Uttrakhand, the Committee recommended for acceptance of his representation for revision of allocation to Uttarakhand, in terms of this Department’s letter No.27/26/2006SRS dated 29-07-2008 and subsequent amendment of even number dated 24-06-2010 regarding allocation of SC/ST personnel.
2. The Government of India has accepted the recommendations of the Committee and accordingly the allocation of Shri Pratap Singh Garbyal, Executive Engineer, PWD stands revised to Uttarakhand. The official concerned may kindly be apprised of the position.
