A significant meeting of the State Advisory Committee, the 80th of its kind, recently concluded with crucial decisions regarding government employee transfer requests. These requests, often stemming from compelling medical or genuine distress situations, were thoroughly reviewed. Several employees had sought transfers, citing severe health issues such as chronic heart conditions, Hepatitis B, and various disabilities, aiming to relocate from Uttarakhand to Uttar Pradesh.
However, following a meticulous assessment, the committee determined that these specific applications did not meet the criteria outlined in the established medical and genuine distress guidelines. These guidelines were stipulated in key notifications issued by the Uttar Pradesh Reorganization Coordination Department on February 4, 2009, and March 6, 2009. Consequently, the committee recommended the rejection of these transfer pleas, asserting that the personnel should continue their service in Uttarakhand.
These recommendations have now received the endorsement of the Indian government, solidifying the decisions. The relevant authorities are being promptly informed to ensure the smooth implementation of these resolutions.

महोदय,
उपर्युक्त विषय में मुझे यह कहने का निदेश हुआ है कि राज्य परामर्शी समिति की दिनांक 17 जून, 2010 को आयोजित 80वीं बैठक में विचारोपरांत समिति ने संलग्नक में उल्लिखित कार्मिकों के अभ्यावेदनों को चिकित्सकीय/वास्तविक व्यथा दिशा-निदेशों से आच्छादित न होने के कारण अस्वीकृत करने की संस्तुति की है । विस्तृत ब्यौरा संलग्नक पर है ।
समिति द्वारा इन मामलों में जो संस्तुतियों की गई उन्हें भारत सरकार द्वारा वास्तविक/चिकित्सकीय व्यथा के अन्तर्गत मान लिया गया है। संलग्नक में उल्लिखित कार्मिकों को उत्तराखण्ड राज्य में बनाये रखे जाने का निर्णय लिया गया है ।
