Sir,
I am directed to refer to the direction of the Hon’ble High Court of Allahabad, Lucknow Bench dated 12.12.2007 and to say that the representation of Shri Ramesh Chandra Pathak, Field Investigator, Evaluation Department on the basis of spouse policy was considered by the Committee headed by Shri Rajeev Kapoor, Joint Secretary in its meeting held on 01.12.2010. The Committee found that wife of Shri Pathak is working in UP in Primary Vidhyalya since 17.11.1990. The Committee therefore, recommended to accept the representation of Shri Ramesh Chandra Pathak, Evaluation Department for revision of his allocation from Uttarakhand to Uttar Pradesh subject to confirmation by Uttar Pradesh Reorganisation Coordination Department.
The Government of India has accepted the recommendation of the Committee and accordingly the allocation of Shri Ramesh Chandra Pathak stands revised from Uttarakhand to Uttar Pradesh. The Official concerned may kindly be apprised of the position.
