This document relays the decision from the Government of India to approve the re-allocation of Shri Kedar Nath, Deputy Inspector General (Jail) of the Gorakhpur Zone, to Uttar Pradesh. This decision follows a representation made by Shri Kedar Nath and its subsequent consideration by an Advisory Committee. Sir,
I am directed to refer to the representation received from Shri Kedar Nath, Deputy Inspector General (Jail), Gorakhpur Zone for his re-allocation to Uttar Pradesh and to say that it was considered by the Advisory Committee headed by Joint Secretary (SR) in its meeting held on 1-12-2010. The Committee accepted the representations for reallocation of Shri Kedar Nath to Uttar Pradesh in terms of this Department’s letter No.27/26/2006-SRS dated 29-7-2008 and subsequent amendment of even number dated 24-6-2010 regarding allocation of SC/ST personnel, on the basis of statement made by the representative of the Administrative Department that he belongs to Pasi community, which is a Scheduled Caste, and that he is a domicile of Uttar Pradesh, subject to verification of these details by UPRCD.
2. Government of India has accepted the recommendations of the Committee and accordingly the allocation of Shri Kedar Nath, Deputy Inspector General, is revised to Uttar Pradesh. The official concerned may kindly be apprised of the position.
