The Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, Department of Personnel and Training, has issued a directive regarding the representations of Cane Development Inspectors. Following a State Advisory Committee meeting on June 17, 2010, it was noted that three inspectors, Madan Lal, Shiv Kumar, and Ishwar Singh, were not permitted to join their posts in Uttarakhand after being relieved from Uttar Pradesh. They subsequently retired from service. The committee recommended that these individuals be treated as allocated to Uttar Pradesh, in accordance with existing reorganization and retirement benefit guidelines, with benefits to be provided by Uttar Pradesh. The Government of India has accepted these recommendations and requests necessary action be taken accordingly, with the concerned officers being informed.

Subject: Consideration of representations of Cane Development Inspectors – regarding
Sir,
I am directed to refer to the subject noted above and to say that the State Advisory Committee in its meeting held on 17.06.2010 considered the representations of S/Shri Madan Lal, Shiv Kumar and Ishwar Singh, Cane Development Inspectors. The Committee found that all the three were not allowed to join in Uttarakhand after their relieving from UP and in the meantime they retired from service. The Committee recommended that they be treated as allocated to UP as per existing guidelines on reorganization and retirement benefits be provided by Uttar Pradesh.
The Government of India has accepted the recommendations of the State Advisory Committee. Necessary action may kindly be taken as per the recommendations of the Committee under intimation to this Department. The officers concerned may be apprised accordingly.
