Subject: Consideration of cases of SC/ST personnel of Jail Department – regarding
Sir,
I am directed to refer to the subject noted above and to say that the Advisory Committee in its meeting held on 14.02 .2011 considered cases of 46 personnel as per Annexure belonging to SC/ST Category who were finally allocated to Uttarakhand under juniormost category. The Committee was informed that the said 46 personnel are domicile of Uttar Pradesh. The Committee therefore recommended to revise allocation of these 46 personnel as per Annexure to UP in terms of this Department’s letter No.27/26/2006-SRS dated 29.07.2008 and subsequent amendment of even number dated 24.06.2010 regarding allocation of SC/ST personnel
2. The Government of India has accepted the recommendation of the Committee and accordingly final allocation of 46 personnel of Jail Department is revised to Uttar Pradesh. The officers concerned may kindly be apprised accordingly.

This is subject to vacation of stay/disposal in any other court cases connected with the case, if any.
