Sub.:- Consideration of representation of Shri Virendra Pratap Singh, PWD in compliance of the directions dated 12/08/2009 of Hon’ble High Court of Allahabad in Writ Petition No.147/2009 – regarding
Sir,
I am directed to refer to the subject noted above and to say that the Advisory Committee in its meeting held on 14.02 .2011 considered the representation of Shri Virendra Pratap Singh, Public Works Department in compliance of the directions dated 12/08/2010 of the Hon’ble High Court of Uttarakhand, Nainital in Writ Petition No.147(S/S)/2009 on medical grounds. The Committee found that the medical grounds mentioned by Shri Virendra Pratap Singh are not covered under the Medical Hardship Policy. The Committee, however, noted that Shri Virendra Pratap Singh belongs to SC Category and is domicile of Uttar Pradesh. The Committee, therefore, recommended to accept his representation for revision of allocation to UP in tems of this Department’s letter No.27/26/2006-SRS dated 29.07.2008 and subsequent amendment of even number dated 24.06.2010 regarding allocation of SC/ST personnel
2. The Government of India has accepted the recommendation of the Committee and accordingly final allocation of Shri Virendra Pratap Singh, PWD is revised to Uttar Pradesh. The officer concerned may kindly be apprised accordingly.
