Subject:Compliance of directions dated 21.01.2013 of the Hon’ble High Court of Bihar at Patna in CWIC No. 14244/2012- Decision on the representation of Shri Lakhan Rajak, Clerk, Department of Labour for revision of allocation from Bihar to Jharkhand.
Sir,
I am directed to draw your kind attention to the above mentioned subject and to say that in compliance of directions dated 21.01.2013 of the Hon’ble High Court of Bihar at Patna in CWJC No. 14244/2012, representation of Shri Lakhan Rajak, Clerk, Department of Labour was considered by the State Advisory Committee, Bihar in its meeting held on 17.01.2014. The Committee noted that Shri Lakhan Rajak belongs to SC category, also a domicile of Jharkhand and had opted for the State of Jharkhand. It was further observed that as per revised guidelines issued vide letter dated 24.06.2010, SC/ST employees are to be allocated to the State of their domicile or on option basis. Therefore, the Committee recommended revision of his allocation from Bihar to Jharkhand under revised policy/guidelines of allocation of SC/ST employees.
2. The Central Government has accepted the above recommendations and hereby revises allocation of Shri Lakhan Rajak, Clerk from Bihar to Jharkhand as recommended by the Committee. It is requested that further necessary action may please be initiated accordingly.
