Government Communication Regarding OBC Employee Allocation Revision

G

This communication addresses the requests for the revision of allocation for Other Backward Class (OBC) employees belonging to the Hill Sub-Cadre from Uttarakhand to Uttar Pradesh. It clarifies that while an earlier letter from 2008 included OBCs for reservation benefits, a subsequent amendment in 2010 did not extend these benefits to OBCs. Consequently, the benefits from both the 2008 and 2010 letters are not available to OBCs in the plain cadre either. Therefore, the requests for revision of allocation for hill sub-cadre OBC employees from Uttarakhand cannot be accepted. Similarly, representations from Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe (SC/ST) employees belonging to the hill sub-cadre for allocation revision from Uttarakhand have also not been accepted, as previously intimated.
