Extension of Appointment for Shri Vishwanath Anand as Chairman of State Advisory Committee

The Central Government has extended the term of Shri Vishwanath Anand, a retired IAS officer, as the Chairman of the State Advisory Committee. This extension, effective from July 3, 2003, and continuing until December 31, 2003, or until further orders, allows him to continue assisting the government in its functions related to State Government employees, excluding those in All India Services. The terms and conditions of his appointment remain unchanged.

ORDER – 3 JUL 2003

In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 76 of the Uttar Pradesh Reorganization Act, 2000 and in continuation of this Department’s orders of even number dated 30.12.02, the Central Government is pleased to extend the term of appointment of Shri Vishwanath Anand (IAS 1965 UP – Retired), as Chairman of the State Advisory Committee, to assist the Central Government in discharging its functions in regard to the State Government employees other than All India Services for a further period up to 31.12.2003 or until further orders, whichever is earlier. The terms of his appointment would remain unchanged.
