Extension of Term for Shri Vishwanath Anand as Chairman of State Advisory Committee

This document announces the extension of Shri Vishwanath Anand’s term as Chairman of the State Advisory Committee. Exercising powers granted by the Uttar Pradesh Reorganization Act, 2000, and continuing previous departmental orders, the Central Government has extended his tenure. This extension, effective from the date of the previous order (03.07.03), will last until 30.09.2004 or until further notice, with the terms of his appointment remaining the same. Shri Vishwanath Anand, a retired IAS officer from Uttar Pradesh, will continue to assist the Central Government in its functions related to state government employees who are not part of the All India Services. The order has been copied to the Chief Secretaries of Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal, as well as Shri Vishwanath Anand himself.

ORDER

In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 76 of the Uttar Pradesh Reorganization Act, 2000 and in continuation of this Department’s orders of even number dated 03.07.03, the Central Government is pleased to extend the term of appointment of Shri Vishwanath Anand (IAS 1965 UP – Retired), as Chairman of the State Advisory Committee, to assist the Central Government in discharging its functions in regard to the State Government employees other than Ali India Service: for a further period up to 30.09.2004 or until further orders, whichever is earlier. The terms of his appointment would remain unchanged.
