The Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, Government of India, has extended the term of Shri S. A. T. Rizvi, IAS(Retd.), as the Chairman of the State Advisory Committee for Uttar Pradesh. This extension, effective from April 1, 2010, to June 30, 2010, is for a period of three months and will be under the same terms and conditions as his previous appointment. The committee’s role is to assist the Central Government in matters concerning the allocation of State Government employees from the erstwhile undivided Uttar Pradesh, excluding All India Services. Copies of this order have been sent to the Chief Secretaries of Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand, Shri S. A. T. Rizvi himself, and the Principal Secretaries of the UP State Reorganization Coordination Department and the Uttarakhand Reorganization Department.

In exercise of powers conferred by Section 76 of the Uttar Pradesh Reorganization Act, 2000, and in continuation of this Department’s Order of even number dt. 06.01.2010, the Government of India hereby extends the terms of Shri S. A. T. Rizvi, IAS(Retd.) (UP-1965), as the Chairman of the State Advisory Committee, U.P., to assist the Central Government in discharging its functions with regard to the allocation matters of the State Government employees of the erstwhile State of undivided Uttar Pradesh, other than All India Services, for a further period of three months, w.e.f. 01.04.2010 till 30.06.2010, on the existing terms and conditions of his appointment.
