The Department of Personnel & Training has issued a circular regarding the framing of RTI Rules, 2017, which will supersede the RTI Rules, 2012. Following up on a previous circular dated March 31, 2017, the department has announced that in addition to online submissions, physical copies of views and suggestions from stakeholders on the draft RTI Rules, 2017 will also be accepted. These physical submissions should be sent to Smt. Gayatri Mishra, Joint Secretary, at Room No. 279 (A) DoPT, North Block.

Subject:- Framing RTI Rules, 2017 in supersession of RTI Rules, 2012 – comments regarding.
In continuation of this Department’s Circular of even no. dated 31.03.2017 on the subject mentioned above, it is stated that in addition to online, physical copies of views/suggestions of the concerned stakeholders on the draft RTI Rules, 2017 will also be accepted in this department. The same may be sent to Smt. Gayatri Mishra, Joint Secretary, Room No. 279 (A) DoPT, North Block.
