A recent government decision has greenlighted the temporary transfer of a prominent civil servant. Ms. A. Shainamol, an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2007 Himachal Pradesh cadre, will be moving to the Kerala cadre for a period of three years. This significant move was approved on compassionate grounds, demonstrating flexibility within existing administrative guidelines. It’s important to note that this approval does not affect the government’s position in a pending legal challenge filed by Ms. Shainamol regarding her initial cadre allocation.
