In a significant development concerning civil service personnel, a proposal for the inter-cadre transfer of Ms. V. Hekali Zhimomi, an IAS officer from the 1996 Uttar Pradesh cadre, to the Nagaland cadre has been declined. However, there’s a possibility for the officer to be considered for an inter-cadre deputation, should she express interest and formally apply, in line with existing regulations. This decision underscores the stringent norms governing such transfers within the Indian Administrative Service.
